Installation Methods

Method 1: WordPress Admin Dashboard

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New
3. Click “Upload Plugin” button
4. Choose the plugin zip file and click “Install Now”
5. After installation, click “Activate Plugin”

Method 2: FTP Upload

1. Extract the plugin zip file
2. Upload the woocommerce-auto-comments folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
3. Go to WordPress admin → Plugins
4. Find “Pingback | WooCommerce Automatic Comments” and click “Activate”

Post-Installation Steps

1. Verify WooCommerce: Ensure WooCommerce is installed and activated
2. Access Settings: Go to WordPress admin → Pingback (new menu item)
3. Configure Settings: Set up your preferred options in the three available tabs:
   • General – Configure order statuses
   • Texts – Customize all displayed text
   • Style – Adjust colors and appearance
4. Test Display: Visit your site’s My Account page to see the comment form

Troubleshooting Installation

Plugin doesn’t appear: Check that WooCommerce is activated first

No menu item: Ensure you have admin privileges and the plugin is activated

Display issues: Clear any caching plugins after activation
