Installation Methods

Method 1: WordPress Admin Dashboard

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New
3. Click “Upload Plugin” button
4. Choose the plugin zip file and click “Install Now”
5. After installation, click “Activate Plugin”

Method 2: FTP Upload

1. Extract the plugin zip file
2. Upload the woocommerce-wishlist folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
3. Go to WordPress admin → Plugins
4. Find “WooCommerce Products Wishlist” and click “Activate”

Post-Installation Steps

1. Verify WooCommerce: Ensure WooCommerce is installed and activated
2. Access Settings: Go to WordPress admin → Wishlist (new menu item)
3. Configure Settings: Set up your preferred options in the five available tabs:
   • General – Configure user access and messages
   • Product Page – Set button/link positions on single product pages
   • Archive Pages – Configure display options for product listing pages
   • Wishlist Page – Set up the main wishlist page and columns
   • Style – Customize colors, icons, and appearance
4. Automatic Page Creation: The plugin automatically creates a “Wishlist” page with the shortcode [woowish_table]
5. Test Display: Visit your product pages to see the wishlist buttons/links

Troubleshooting Installation

Plugin doesn’t appear: Check that WooCommerce is activated first

No menu item: Ensure you have admin privileges and the plugin is activated

Display issues: Clear any caching plugins after activation

Wishlist page not created: Manually create a page and add the shortcode [woowish_table]
